How to deal with your boss?

Aries

March 21 - April 19

If you want to create harmony and healthy working relationships with your Aries boss, you need to realize that Aries natives don’t understand hints (or they do understand but prefer to pretend they don’t). Be efficient, quick, and as honest and direct as possible (without being too rude, of course!)

Your Aries boss expects you to use your intuition and imagination at work, so don’t expect them to give you a detailed description of your task. If you can, try to come up with a cheaper and quicker way of getting things done – this will earn your boss’s respect. Be creative, self-reliant, and don’t ask too many questions. Taurus

April 20 - May 20

Taurean bosses are the most patient bosses in the world. They seem to be nice, shaggy bears who are a bit stubborn but always kind and forgiving. But treating them like that may cause a lot of trouble because their patience (though enormous) is not endless. They’re always watching you. Don’t try their patience too far.

They don’t mind if you’re a bit slow in catching on to their method and they don’t expect miracles to happen overnight but again: make sure not to be TOO slow. At the same time, they don’t like to accept new ideas immediately, especially if they seem too progressive and radical. Be patient, and every good idea will be paid by them. 

Gemini

May 21 - June 20

Gemini bosses are always full of bright ideas: it’s never boring with them but sometimes can be a bit scary. For some, it may be hard to keep up with them intellectually because of how often they change their minds and come up with wild ideas. Make sure to always have a Plan B up your sleeve if you have to deal with a Gemini boss.

Gemini natives are famous for their sense of humor, so expect a lot of jokes and banter at your workplace. If you’re too sensitive and can’t take a joke, you won’t probably last long with this employer. They can’t tolerate sensitive people. If you’re always super serious, you need to learn how to lighten up a bit.

Cancer

June 21 - July 22

If your boss is a Cancer native, you should remember that they can’t tolerate disloyal people. If you betray them once, you’ll have to say goodbye to your job. No matter what it is: spilling the beans about their personal life or revealing company secrets, they won’t tolerate it. Loyalty is everything to Cancers.

If you want to establish yourself as a caring team member, try bringing in some tasty treats for your co-workers. Cancers often suffer from extreme moodiness, so be careful when they’re a bit too grumpy, especially when the moon is full. But they’re also extremely sympathetic and will do everything to make you feel at home. 

Leo

July 23 - August 22

If you work with a Leo boss, you need to remember just one thing: they’re always right. They’re unlikely to back down even they turn out to be wrong. If you’re facing an issue at work, discuss it with Leo discreetly – there’s probably nothing they hate more than losing face in public. Make sure to show them respect.

For Leos, it’s easy to inspire loyalty, because they stand up for their team. Your job as a team Leo member is to present your boss in the most flattering light. Remember: they won’t tolerate any challenges for supremacy, so you should be satisfied with your role of a sidekick if you want to keep the job. 

Virgo

August 23 - September 22

Virgo bosses expect the highest possible standards from their employees, so be ready for your work to be checked and double-checked. Some of them even think that they’re the only person who can get the job done correctly. To keep on their good side, arrive early, be tidy, be quick, and be very, VERY attentive.

For Virgo bosses, doing things properly means doing them their way. Just like Leo bosses, they’re always right. They don’t praise their employees too often, but when they do, they’re completely honest. They’re perfectionists, so try to adjust to their perfectionist worldview if you want to get a promotion. 

Libra

September 23 - October 23

Libra bosses are incredibly charming but their inability to make a decision can drive even the most patient employee crazy. If you tell them that there are five ways to do something, they’ll discuss every single one of them in great detail and then stick to the first one. And then maybe change their mind.

A good team spirit is very important to any Libra boss, so they will do their best to make your surroundings chic, comfortable, and often minimalist. If you want to win their trust, try taking part in all team-building events. Bring some treats for your team, smile, look confident and professional. 

Scorpio

October 24 - November 22

If your boss is a Scorpio native, be as honest as possible. Don’t ever try to pull the wool over their eyes if you don’t want to end up losing your job! Their instinct and sixth sense are almost supernatural, and if you try to lie to them, they will see it. They know all the tricks and almost can read your mind.

Scorps are mysterious and mesmerizing – you’ll never know what they’re actually thinking about and what they’re up to. They’re extremely hardworking and often work without any breaks until they drop, and many of them expect the same from you. To win their respect, work hard and learn how to take sharp criticism. 

Sagittarius

November 23 - December 21

Sags are extremely ambitious and often tend to overestimate themselves – that’s why they sometimes fail to deliver what they promise. For them, keeping to the plan may be difficult, so make sure to help them keep on schedule. Remind them on budgets and deadlines but don’t be too intrusive.

They’re one of the most optimistic signs of the Zodiac, and sometimes their optimism blinds them. If their plans don’t seem achievable to you, tell them about it. In general, they’re kind and value equality. Their heart is in the right place, and they will do their best to help their employees grow and develop their skills.

Capricorn

December 22 - January 19

Capricorns are probably the strictest bosses of the Zodiac; they often act as controlling parents. They hate risks and usually prefer trusted ways of doing things and expect the same from you. If they tell you to do something in a certain way, obey. Don’t bend the rules, because this may make them uncomfortable.

Another thing you absolutely SHOULDN’T do if your boss is a Cap is showing your emotions at work. You should be as professional as possible. Be hardworking, emotionless, share our ideas that can be profitable for the company, and your Capricorn boss will respect you and will give you a promotion. 

Aquarius

January 20 - February 19

Aquarius bosses love technology and creative people, so if you’re open to unorthodox thinking and working some extra hours, you may make some progress with your Aquarian boss really quickly. Make sure to share your ideas with them, no matter how wild they seem to be. Aquarius people value creativity!

Your Aqua boss may seem a bit cold and standoffish but it doesn’t mean that they don’t like you. They just prefer working independently; their brain works better when they’re alone. Try to be as self-reliant as possible. He also may be absent-minded and forgetful, so be patient with them. 

Pisces

February 20 - March 20

If your boss is a Piscean, you should forget about logic. Their style is more about feeling and using their sixth sense than thinking rationally. To win their trust and respect, try helping them keep on schedule and be organized. They’re dreamers, and they need someone who is in touch with reality.

Piscean bosses are extremely understanding and sympathetic, so if you need some time off work they’ll support you. But don’t feed them with too many sob stories because their sympathy and patience are not endless. Even though they seem to be kind and soft, they’re still your boss – you need to remember that.
